Our camping site is located at the Waterfront, overlooking two authentic Frisian ‘Spinnekop’ windmills behind the farm. The ideal place for some relaxing times, as a guest of friendly people, you will surely enjoy the magnificent vistas.
Near the campsite there are various opportunities for scating, cycling, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating and other water sports. Several trails, lakes and rivers are nearby.
We have our own port with multiple boating docks, so it will be easy for you to explore the waters in a small boat or Canoe. There are several nice cafes and restaurants at the Waterfront in the small but lovely villages of ‘De Veenhoop’, Akkrum, Grouw and Oldeboorn.
